OCTOBER ISSUE 2006
Exclusive interviews with McSheffrey, Jaidi, N’Gotty and Campbell
The latest issue of BLUES Magazine is in the shops this week with exclusive interviews with Gary McSheffrey, Bruno N’Gotty, Radhi Jaidi and DJ Campbell. Plus there’s a chance to vote for your best-ever Blues kit with a chance to win a signed Blues shirt.
Gary McSheffrey talks about his big money move, how he has settled in at Blues and his hopes for the season. “Ultimately I’ve come here because I want to play in the Premiership,” he told the club’s official magazine. “The club is looking not only to go back up, but to establish itself in the Premiership again. And I want to be part of that.”
The magazine chats to both halves of Blues’ formidable defensive partnership, Bruno N’Gotty and Radhi Jaidi, and finds them optimistic that they can help Blues back to the top flight.
And we talk football, football and more football with DJ Campbell.
In another exclusive interview, we find out from new Academy Director, Terry Westley, about his ambitious plans for the Academy and how we can attract the best young players to the club.
There’s a chance to win a signed Blues shirt by voting in our poll for the best-ever Blues kit, with a pull-out poster of team strips from 1875 to the present day and we have exclusive chats with Stephen Kelly and rising star, James Blake.
Blues fans share their memories of the great games and most memorable matches in a new feature, ‘I Was There’ and we hear from BBC WM’s Paul Franks on keeping faith with Blues’ young side and from Darren Porter, alias Skydaz, on playing with flair and the positive signs from the season so far.
There are posters of Nicklas Bendtner, Cameron Jerome, Seb Larsson and Mat Sadler, plus all the usual favourites - news from inside St. Andrew’s, a month in quotes, down memory lane, match reports and more.
