Magazine
Published monthly BY BLUES FANS FOR BLUES FANS. This 64 page magazine is the official magazine of Birmingham City Football Club.
Each month the magazine is packed with exclusive behind the scenes interviews, match reports, junior blues, fans forums, and, of course, posters of your favourite players.
SUMMER ISSUE 2007
A special souvenir edition of BLUES Magazine has been produced to celebrate Blues’ return to the Premiership.
The magazine features exclusive interviews with manager Steve Bruce, Player of the Year Stephen Clemence, penalty hero Colin Doyle and striker Cameron Jerome whose crucial goals against Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday got us over the finishing line.
We relive all the drama of our rollercoaster campaign, chat to Blues fans all over the world about their hopes for the coming season and feature picture specials on the magic moments of the season and the promotion party in Birmingham city centre.
And looking ahead to next season, BBCWM’s Paul Franks gives his views on what Blues need to do to survive; 1992 promotion-winning captain Ian Clarkson assesses our chances back in the top flight and the Birmingham Mail’s ‘Mr Blues’, Colin Tattum compares today’s side with the 2002 play-off winners.
We also talk to ex-Blues captain Martin O’Connor about his time at Blues.
There is a double page full colour picture of the fans’ celebrations in Victoria Square plus posters of ‘That Premiership Moment’ when Seb Larsson’s goal against Sheffield Wednesday virtually clinched our place back in the top flight and of The Championship’s Official Player of the Year, Gary McSheffrey.
The special Souvenir Promotion issue is the summer edition of BLUES Magazine and is in the shops now, priced £2.95.
You can order online at www.bluesmagazine.co.uk and you can subscribe for a year on line or by calling 01225 899975 for just £29.95 which includes two FREE issues and FREE postage and packaging.
